Jeffrey S. Schimmel is the Founder & Managing Partner at JAI Partners, where he leads value-driven investments, development initiatives, and strategic partnerships. With a focus on uncovering hidden opportunities and building lasting impact, he brings operational insight and an embedded, AI-amplified approach to help organizations achieve their full potential. 

Mr. Schimmel’s previous experience included serving as a member of the deal team which acquired the five (5) businesses in the formation of Cyxtera Technologies, Inc. and, subsequently, serving as Chief Procurement Officer, Global Head of Real Estate and Development, and integral member of the "going public" team for Cyxtera Technologies, Inc. – the multi-billion dollar, publicly traded (NASDAQ: CYXT), 3rd largest data center operator in the world, with 60+ data centers and over 6M SF of real estate.  In addition, Mr. Schimmel co-founded a private equity real estate and development firm, leveraging private capital to finance development for institutions of higher education and led the investment team which acquired the first, large-loan portfolio ($1.2B), sold by the FDIC following the Great Financial Crisis, which represented the foundational component of a single-family home rental REIT.

Prior to leading a multi-billion dollar procurement operation, along with founding and opportunistically acquiring real estate, Mr. Schimmel worked at Barclays Investment Bank.  Mr. Schimmel started his career as a Certified Public Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided real estate tax advisory and return preparation services.  His degrees include Master’s in Accounting and Bachelor’s in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
